  • Chemical peels can benefit a wide range of skin types and concerns, including acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and texture issues.

    The best candidates are those with healthy, intact skin barriers who are committed to proper pre- and post-care. However, if you have certain skin conditions (like active rosacea, eczema, or severe sensitivity), are pregnant, nursing, or are using specific medications (such as Accutane), a peel may not be the best option at this time.

    A consultation is always recommended to determine the safest and most effective treatment for your skin.

  • Downtime varies depending on the type and strength of the peel used. Most of the peels offered have minimal to moderate downtime, meaning you may experience light to moderate flaking, dryness, or mild redness for a few days. Some peels result in little to no visible peeling, but still work beneath the surface to improve skin texture and tone.

    I’ll always provide post-care guidance based on the peel used to ensure the best results while keeping your skin comfortable during the healing process.

  • While the word peel might sound like it could be a painful experience, rest assured that the peels I offer are not. You may feel tingling, mild stinging, or itching during the treatment, depending on the depth of the peel, but these sensations are completely normal and subside as the peel neutralizes. Some peels are so gentle that you may barely feel anything at all.

    My goal is to keep you comfortable throughout the process, and I’ll always check in to ensure your skin is responding well.

Some people see great results after just one peel, but for concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, or fine lines, a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is often recommended for optimal results.
